PEO PO and PSO

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO1	To prepare students with a good foundation in mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals required for finding and analysing solutions for real life engineering problems.
PEO2	To inculcate effective communication skills and an ability to lead and work in a team environment.
PEO3	To provide academic environment so as to promote the life-long learning needed for a successful professional career.
PEO4	To facilitate the students to pursue higher studies and /or to find entry level position in industries.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES (PSOs)

PSO1	The ability to apply the analytical techniques for studying the electrical systems and machines.
PSO2	The ability to apply principles of discrete systems in respect of the systems based on electrical engineering.
PSO3	To gain skills in the above so as to reach positions for their career growth.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs)

PO1	An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering.
PO2	An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data.
PO3	An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs.
PO4	An ability to function in teams.
PO5	An ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.
PO6	An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
PO7	An ability to communicate effectively.
PO8	A broad education necessary to understand the impact of electrical engineering solutions in a global and societal context.

PO10	A knowledge of contemporary issues.
PO11	An ability to use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
