Smart India Hackathon 2019 Award

As you are aware that Smart India Hackathon 2019 is a nation wide initiative to provide students a platform to solve technical problems of various miniseries and corporates thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving.

In the last edition of the Hackathon 2018 over 5 million+ students from various engineering colleges compete for the top prize at 35 different locations in which our two teams won a cash prize of Rs. 50000/- each by Ministry of Skill Development & Government of Maharashtra.

During Smart India Hackathon 2019, 57897 ideas with 2 lakhs + students having 34000 teams have participated to work on challenges faced within the private sector organisations and create world class solutions for some of the top companies in the world, thus helping the Private sector hire the best minds from across the nation. 

We are pleased to share that during this year our 37 teams consisting of 222 students (82 Girls & 140 boys) participated out of which 05 teams were short listed for grand finale.  All the teams were motivated, guided and mentored. All the teams were very happy and they shared their experiences that they learned during the Hackathon.   We feel happy to note the participation of 222 students in this national level technical competition.  Participation in such type of competition definitely adds various attributes required for the professional career.

Further, out of five teams one of our team ‘Coding Demons JM’ consisting of following students secured first position with a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/-.

They provided solution to the problem of Technology bucket- Healthcare & biomedical devices for  ‘Apollo Hospitals’.  The team has developed a software application called ‘I SEE U’ to facilitate a virtual visit to a patient in ICU from anywhere by remotely and securely logging into the hospital website   The other teams have also performed exceptionally good in the competition.
